For Fortnite Season 3 of Chapter 2 I had the chance to be a part of the environment team behind the Fortilla location. For this season the map would be flooded and "The Fortilla" would be one of the new points of interests that would be above water and later follow the different water levels throughout the season. It was fun to work on a completely new style of environment based on large metal scrap pieces paired with a vivid color scheme that can also be found in the battle pass characters of the season.
This was a big team effort like everything in this game. It was also the first time the Montreal art team developed a location in Fortnite and the experience was really fun.
